NVK Crystallography Course

January 15 - January 17

In a 3-day intensive course the participant will learn the basic theory behind diffraction and how crystallographic analysis of the data may help them to answer concrete questions on the material of their subject. The course is meant for young researchers in all fields of molecular and materials sciences that make use of crystal structures. The course will be first addressing fundamentals and then be split into single crystals (SCXRD)and powder diffraction (PXRD) techniques and methods.

 

  • Coffee, Tea and Lunches will be provided. Diners and social gatherings will be organized on days 1 & 2.
  • A detailed topic & time schedule can be downloaded here
  • Students are invited to bring their own data.
  • Students need to arrange their own accommodation, if needed.
